For over 100 years St Luke’s Church has stood as a faithful Christian presence in Lower Parkstone. Today, we have a vision to grow and serve the community, welcoming more people into our services, events and activities, including:

• Welcoming, vibrant church services every Sunday
• Friendly, reflective communion services on Wednesdays
• Monthly lunches and community events for older people
• Friendly, supportive toddler group on Thursdays
• Fun and faith-filled midweek and Sunday groups for children and young people
• Connect Groups gathering to grow in faith together
• Regular prayer meetings each week
• Community events and concerts open to all

However, some of our facilities are now ageing, unreliable and inefficient.

We need to ensure that our church building is bright, warm, welcoming, and fit for purpose, whilst also reducing our impact on the environment.

So we are seeking to raise £200,000 to provide:

• A new, efficient heating system
• Modern, bright, low-energy lighting
• Improved sound and visual capabilities
