At St Luke’s we hire out both our Church Hall (located at 37 Birchwood Road, Poole BH14 9NW, a short walking distance from the Church), and our Church Rooms located at the rear to the Church. Please note usage of both our Hall and the Church Rooms need to comply with the ethos of the Church and the Christian faith.

Our Church Hall

The cost of hiring the Church Hall is £22 per hour plus a returnable deposit of £60. This deposit includes the deposit for the key and fob which will need to be collected from the Hall Caretaker before the intended function.  For regular users, the rate is £18.70 per hour with a £20 returnable deposit for the key fob.  We operate a minimum hire period of 2 hours.

Unfortunately, due to Covid, we have had to make the difficult decision not to take on any children party bookings until January 2021.

Church Rooms

We have four adjoining Church Rooms at the back of the church.  One room shares an open plan kitchen with oven, hob and sink.  The other three are of various sizes, with the option of sub-divisions.  They all have disabled access and toilet facilities.  There is also a piano and TV/video facility available.  The cost of hiring these rooms is £17 per hour plus a returnable deposit of £10 (for the key).

Because both these venues are used for church functions, and also because of the challenges we have faced with cleaning due to Covid, no booking is guaranteed until approved by the St Luke’s Bookings Team.  If your booking is approved we will send you a booking form and our terms and conditions. The completed form should be returned with the hire fee and deposit before the booking can be confirmed.
