We are pleased to offer children's and youth groups during our 10.30 am Sunday Service.  The exception to this is at our All Age Services which take place every 1st Sunday in the month, and also during August where we hold All Age Services on each Sunday of the month.  All groups are staffed by volunteers who have been safely recruited and supervised in accordance with our Safeguarding Policy. Children usually join the beginning of the service in the church and then leave for their groups at around 10.50 am, returning back to church for the end of the service.

First Steps (Crèche)

0-3 years.

Space to play, read Bible stories and sing songs.

We provide a crèche in our Centenary Lounge (near the church main entrance). This is a comfortable, sound-proofed room where a sound system relays the service.  Usually volunteers trained to supervise children under 3 years (and those with additional needs where appropriate) would be available in the crèche, but during these challenging pandemic times, can we please ask parents or carers to remain with their children. Thank you.

Stepping Stones

Preschool to Year 5.

Our fun-filled Sunday School where we do fun activities whilst learning about Jesus and the Bible.

Stepping Stones meet within the Church Rooms at the back of the church, accessed through the main doors at the front of the church (near the piano).

School year 6 +

Time spent unpacking stories from the Bible and learn how we can apply them to our every day lives.

Pathfinders meet in the Chapel, which is accessed through the doors to the front of the church, left of the Chancel, or sometimes in the Church Hall, a short walk away. This group are often invited to social events to facilitate friendships within the group and to provide a safe space for the group to invite their friends to.  These events will be advertised in the weekly notice sheet.
