We are pleased to offer children's and youth groups during our 10.30am Sunday services. All groups are staffed by volunteers who have been safely recruited and are supervised in accordance with our Safeguarding Policy. Children and young people stay in the service for the first 15 minutes or so before they go out to their age specific groups. During the first 15 minutes we sing songs including an action song, and we often have an interactive all age slot. Children and young people return to their parents during the last song or at the end of the service. During the school summer holiday period we give our children's and youth team volunteers a break, so children and young people remain in the service with age appropriate activities provided.
On the first Sunday of the month, we hold an all age service in which children and young people stay with the adults to worship together.
We also run Breakfast Church on the third Sunday of the month at 9am. This is a short, informal all age service beginning with breakfast. It is a Christ-centred and Bible-based, with an emphasis on worship, creativity and hospitality. Do join us!
Our Sunday morning groups at the 10.30am service:
First Steps Creche (our creche room available for families at the back of church):
For families with babies and pre-schoolers. We have space to play, read Bible stories, and do crafts.
Stepping Stones (Reception to Year 6):
We have a more structured approach to help the children engage with the Bible in creative ways.
Youth (Year 7 to Year 11):
We spend time getting to know each other, unpacking passages from the Bible, and applying them to our everyday lives.
